Terms of Service

RankVitals provides website performance testing (Lighthouse-based lab tests), SEO and AI-readiness auditing, scheduled monitoring with alerts, AI-generated fix recommendations, optional GitHub repository integration, a REST API, and an MCP server (together, the "Service"). Using the Service means you accept these terms.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials and API keys secret. Anonymous trial sessions are offered for evaluation and may be removed after 30 days of inactivity. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

You may only test, crawl, or monitor websites that you own or are authorized to test. Running tests against third-party sites without permission, attempting to overwhelm a target, probing internal or private network addresses, abusing free tiers with multiple accounts, reselling raw access, or interfering with the Service's operation are all prohibited and grounds for termination.

Tests consume credits. Free-plan credits top up monthly and do not accumulate. Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe and refill their credit allowance each billing cycle. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; access continues to the end of the paid period. We do not issue refunds for partial months. Prices may change with notice effective from your next billing cycle.

API keys authenticate both the REST API and the MCP server and spend the same credits. Rate limits apply and may change. Do not share keys; revoke them immediately if exposed.

Connecting a GitHub repository is optional and consent-based. Read access is used to analyze files for fix recommendations; write access (opening pull requests) is a separate permission you grant explicitly at connect time. File contents are processed transiently and never stored on our servers. You can revoke access at any time from the dashboard or from GitHub.

Lab metrics are estimates produced under simulated conditions and can differ from real visitor experience. Recommendations — including AI-generated fix plans and pull requests — are suggestions that you must review before applying; we are not responsible for changes you deploy. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections that by nature survive termination (disclaimers, liability, governing law) survive.
